Things to do in Lake Havasu for Spring Break

Lake Havasu is a fairly popular destination for Spring Breakers. It is geared towards people who might not want the big, intense college spring break parties that places like South Padre Island have. Instead, Lake Havasu has a wide variety of activities to do with your friends during your Spring Break.

Here's a list of things to do in Lake Havasu for Spring Break.

Boating

This is the obvious activity. If you're going to a lake, you're probably going boating. There are different ways to go about here, though.

If you're looking for a nice, relaxing day then head to the cove at copper canyon or the sandbar. Here you will find boats PACKED together with Spring Breakers. Lots of music, drinking, and partying going on here.

If you want more adventure there is cliff diving, jet skiing, wakeboarding/waterskiing, fishing, scuba diving, and more. And if you don't own a boat, don't worry. There are places to rent boats here.

The Great Outdoors

Lake Havasu is in the desert, so there is a lot of hiking, biking, and off-roading to do. Rentals are definitely available, and there are some great places to see out here! Definitely a beautiful location.

Nightlife

It starts to get pretty chilly at night during Spring Break, so people usually come in off the lake. The party continues on shore at places like Kokomo. This place has several dance floors, dj's, great music, and even a pool that you can get in for free if you buy a drink. Probably the biggest nightlife place at Havasu. Another fun one is the night club Red Room.

London Bridge

The historical reason to come to Lake Havasu: London Bridge! They have the actual London Bridge. So the story is that it was sinking into the ground in London because it wasn't built for all the heavy traffic there. Then in the 60's they sold it to the founder of Lake Havasu and he had it carefully taken apart (block by block), shipped to Arizona, and reassembled. Kind of a cool attraction and they have cheap tours of it you can do. Also a pretty romantic spot for a walk with a significant other.

Well, that's not EVERYTHING to do at Lake Havasu, but hopefully you at least have a taste of what it is like now! If you are looking for an unforgettable Spring Break trip with your friends, make sure you check out Inertia Tours. They have some amazing packages to several destinations.

Best Spring Break Hotels by Destination

If you have decided that you and some friends are going to go on a spring break trip, the first thing you need to do is figure out where you want to go. There are lots of good destinations for parties and good times. Check out Inertia Tours to find out where the biggest parties of spring break will be.

After finding a destination, you need to figure out where you are going to stay. It can be hard to find a good place if you haven't been to a particular destination before. Without seeing the hotel first, you never know what you're getting yourself into. That's why we decided to make this blog- so you can know the very BEST hotels in every major Spring Break destination.

South Padre Island, TX

Peninsula Condos

Peninsula Island Resort & Spa is one of the nicest hotels in South Padre! If you're looking for quality, this is your place. It has large condos right on the beach with full kitchens and living room. Lots of other nice perks like the fitness center and spa are available here. Another bonus, it's only about 200 yards from the Coke Beach Stage, making it a short walk to the biggest beach party location.

Inverness Condos

Inverness condos is another good choice for students that want to stay on the beach! You might as well stay where the parties will be happening. You're also going to be within the 3 mile party strip. You'll get 1 or 2 bedroom condos here, with a kitchen as well.

Panama City, FL

Summit Condos

The Summit is in a great location. They have big 1 bedroom condos along with kitchens, living rooms, and beachfront access. It is also walking distance to all the big nightclubs in Panama City, so this is the place to be staying if you're going to Panama City.

Laketown Wharf Condos

Laketown Wharf is the largest condo complex in the entire state! It's right across the street from the beach, which is also nice. The rooms are fully equipped; you even get a washer & dryer and multiple bathrooms. There's lots of pools to relax at, one of which is a roof top pool with a hot tub as well. Only a mile from a couple major clubs, and it's right next to Walmart. Can't beat the cheap beer/groceries.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Holiday Inn Beach

It can be a little intimidating to go on a trip to a different country, which is why it is nice to stay at a hotel with a familiar name: Holiday Inn! This isn't your standard run-of-the-mill Holiday Inn though, this is a full on resort! It has all-inclusive availablility. It's also just minutes from any major nightclub.

Marriott Casamagna

Another fantastic beachfront hotel with a name you can trust. Beautiful pool and beach, and some world class restaurants to eat at. They also have an award winning spa, if you're into that.  Customer service here is unbeatable.

Cancun, Mexico

Gran Caribe Real

In our opinion, this is the nicest spring break-friendly hotel in the city. The food and beverages available with the all inclusive package are fantastic. There are TWO big beach party stages on the beach in front of the property during spring break. Nice pools that play good music for partying. Just a few minutes away from the Party Center.

Aloft Cancun

A nice hotel with definitely a very modern feel. It has beach access, with really nice rooms. It has free internet, which can be hard to come by in Mexico. Also not far from the nightlife and clubs.

Now you know a couple hotels in all the major spring break destinations that won't surprise you with mold, cockroaches or anything like that. These hotels are the best of the best, and you'll enjoy the customer service at any of them. Once you've got your destination and hotel picked out, go to inertiatours.com and get your spring break package set up!

Things to do on Spring Break Panama City

Have your heart set on going to Florida for your spring break trip? You're not alone, Florida is a favorite for lots of spring breakers. In fact, Panama City Beach is the most popular northern Spring Break destination. It's located on the panhandle of Florida, and is a great destination, especially if you're in driving distance. Since there are several college campuses that aren't too far from Panama City, there's always students there during spring break to keep the parties going. If you've never been to Panama City before, here are some things you might want to know.

Where to Stay

Making sure you have somewhere nice to stay at takes the bulk of travel stress away. Once you have that figured out, everything else, like figuring out where to party, is pretty easy.

We recommend the Summit condos. They are in a great location, on the beach, they have big bedrooms and full kitchens/living rooms. This will save you on your spending money. It's also within walking distances to all the good nightclubs. If you are looking for a lower cost option, you might want to consider the Chateau Beach hotel.

The Nightlife

The nightlife is THE reason you choose to go to spring break in Panama City. Most of the big clubs are close to where you would stay. You'll have a great time at super clubs such as La Vela, Spinnakers, and more.

Another bonus is that with Inertia (and only Inertia) you can add to your package our Red Carpet VIP Party Package! Aka the Panamaniac party card. This card has free covers at many popular clubs like Spinnakers, Harpoon Harrys, and Sharkey's. It also includes about 16 hours or so of FREE drinking.

Activities and Side Trips

While the spring break parties might not be as big as they are at South Padre Island, Texas, Panama City really is a great place to go for spring break. It is beautiful (especially the super white, sandy beaches), relaxing, and there is lots to do.

While you are there you should check out Shipwreck Island; they have some pretty cool rides. You could also do some sailing excursions on the Grand Lagoon. Going on a dolphin tour is another fun option. Really, there are endless activities to choose from here.

Top Spring Break Clubs in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is quickly becoming one of the more popular spring break destinations! The weather is great (in the high 80's), Inertia Tours has staff there full time to help get you situated from the moment you step off the airplane, and the club scene is starting to blow up!

Inertia Tours hooks you up with Party Vallarta, which has had experience with Puerto Vallata's clubs for over 17 years. They throw the biggest, craziest spring break parties.

Here are some of the top spring break clubs in Puerto Vallarta.

Xtine

Located in the hotel zone, this is the biggest place to go for spring break parties! It is recently renovated with VIP tables that go around the entire dance floor. Lots of lasers and lights here. There is also a patio lounge located inside the club if you need a break.

Punto V

This club is on Boardwalk, just a few blocks away from Mandala in the heart of the city. The first floor is open and has a breathtaking view of the beach. Has a huge ceiling with a humongous chandelier. Gives it kind of a Great Gatsby movie vibe. Their VIP Sky bar is pretty sweet.

 Roo

This club is a whole different kind of ball game. Exotic dancers lure you in from the entrance to an elegant and modern club room. You can get bottle service from private sections or even on the dance floors (that light up!).

Collage

The largest club is Collage. Also one of the most fun clubs, even though it is a bit more casual. They have famous Foam Parties on Tuesdays. Has different forms of entertainment like fire dancers and break dancing.

Mandala

Mandala is the hottest club in Puerto Vallarta right now. They are constantly improving and updating to give you the best experience with music, lighting, and atmosphere. The two-level dance club and bar has huge windows to give a great view.

Zoo

Zoo is one of the older clubs, but is the place to be for old school hip hop lovers. Some of the best margaritas in the city are available here. The place has kind of a wild, tribal feel to it, so you can unleash the animal in you.

Check out the Inertia Tours website to learn more about the clubs in Puerto Vallarta as well as other aspects of a vacation to this gorgeous city!
