Things To Do On Puerto Vallarta Spring Break

Puerto Vallarta is becoming increasingly popular as a Spring Break destination. You may have heard about it, but maybe aren't too familiar with what there is to do there. This article should give you a good idea of how to have a good time in Puerto Vallarta.

Enjoy the Resort

Hey, you're in a beautiful city that has tons of great hotels and resorts! You might as well enjoy them. Many have nice private beaches and pools with daily activities. Or you could see if there is a spa to take advantage of. Vacations are for relaxing, right?

Explore the Nightlife

The Nightlife at Puerto Vallarta is where it's at! Puerto Vallarta is home to some very famous clubs, including this one with the foam dance floor. Enjoy some great clubs with fantastic DJ's. Take advantage of the incredible food too while you're there!

Shows & Entertainment

There are some amazing local shows to check out in Puerto Vallarta, like this one with the fire dancing. New cultures are very fun and different, so make sure you get a taste of the culture in Puerto Vallarta while you can.

Off-Road Fun

If you're into outdoor adventure fun, there's lots of activities to choose from! You can ride ATV's and explore trails.

You can also go on zip lines. The scenery of Puerto Vallarta is simply beautiful, and there is nothing like flying through the trees and being able to take it all in.

Another outdoor adventure option is horseback riding. It's always fun to ride horses on the beach or along trails inland. You'll have a trained guide, so it's fine if you're a beginner!

Fun In the Water

Puerto Vallarta has beautiful water and warm temperatures, so cool off with some activities in the water! You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, kayaking; the options are limitless!

 See the Wildlife

Take advantage of your location and see some wildlife! You can go whale watching (they get pretty close, as you can see). You can also play with dolphins, or see some of the wildlife inland.

Whatever you consider to be fun, you can be sure that Puerto Vallarta has it. Definitely one of the top picks for Spring Break destinations for you to have the most fun. Price a trip with Inertia Tours and see what kind of deals you can get on packages to Puerto Vallarta!

Top Spring Break Clubs in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is quickly becoming one of the more popular spring break destinations! The weather is great (in the high 80's), Inertia Tours has staff there full time to help get you situated from the moment you step off the airplane, and the club scene is starting to blow up!

Inertia Tours hooks you up with Party Vallarta, which has had experience with Puerto Vallata's clubs for over 17 years. They throw the biggest, craziest spring break parties.

Here are some of the top spring break clubs in Puerto Vallarta.

Xtine

Located in the hotel zone, this is the biggest place to go for spring break parties! It is recently renovated with VIP tables that go around the entire dance floor. Lots of lasers and lights here. There is also a patio lounge located inside the club if you need a break.

Punto V

This club is on Boardwalk, just a few blocks away from Mandala in the heart of the city. The first floor is open and has a breathtaking view of the beach. Has a huge ceiling with a humongous chandelier. Gives it kind of a Great Gatsby movie vibe. Their VIP Sky bar is pretty sweet.

 Roo

This club is a whole different kind of ball game. Exotic dancers lure you in from the entrance to an elegant and modern club room. You can get bottle service from private sections or even on the dance floors (that light up!).

Collage

The largest club is Collage. Also one of the most fun clubs, even though it is a bit more casual. They have famous Foam Parties on Tuesdays. Has different forms of entertainment like fire dancers and break dancing.

Mandala

Mandala is the hottest club in Puerto Vallarta right now. They are constantly improving and updating to give you the best experience with music, lighting, and atmosphere. The two-level dance club and bar has huge windows to give a great view.

Zoo

Zoo is one of the older clubs, but is the place to be for old school hip hop lovers. Some of the best margaritas in the city are available here. The place has kind of a wild, tribal feel to it, so you can unleash the animal in you.

Check out the Inertia Tours website to learn more about the clubs in Puerto Vallarta as well as other aspects of a vacation to this gorgeous city!

Best All Inclusive Spring Break Hotels for 2015

When Spring Break comes around, everyone thinks it would be great to go to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, or some other popular beach destination. However, most people don't give too much thought as to where they will stay until they decide to go. It can be stressful picking a hotel or resort at the last minute. It only adds to the stress when you find out your hotel or resort doesn't have included meals. You then have to figure out where to go in a foreign country, and it can be a bit frustrating.

But guess what? You don't have to worry. We've put together a list of the best all inclusive Spring Break hotels for 2015. All of them are available through Inertia Tours. Going with one of these all inclusive Spring Break hotels takes away the stress about making sure you know where to get good food and even having enough money for food. Even if you do have enough money to go out all the time, changing currency can be a hassle, and it's easy to be confused about the exchange rates. So check out these all inclusive Spring Break hotels that Inertia Tours offers.

Gran Caribe Real, Cancun

The Gran Caribe Real is probably the best hotel in Cancun that is really Spring Break friendly. It has a spectacular location, and really good quality of food and drinks. All inclusive service is the best you can find. Gran Caribe Real has the most bars open during the day with one at the lobby, one by the pool, and one on the beach. Has some good music playing at the pool during the day- great for pool-parties. It's perfect for large groups that want rooms all together. It is just minutes from the Party Center. Also, the Jagermeister and Traveo beach party stages are at this hotel in March. Probably the best all inclusive place to party with Inertia Tours.

Hard Rock, Cancun

Next, is Hard Rock, Cancun. This is a chain you're probably familiar with, so we won't go too in depth. This place has great food, drinks, and clubs. If you're looking for a party, it's probably here. Has a great all inclusive experience, pool, and beach.

Best Western, Puerto Vallarta

When you think of a Best Western hotel, you might think of some hotel on the side of the freeway that costs 60-70 bucks per night and comes with a free continental breakfast.  Not so with the Best Western in Puerto Vallarta! This hotel is located on the southern edge of Puerto Vallarta. It is a great place for groups who want to keep all their rooms together in one place. The all inclusive package comes with unlimited food and drinks at the hotel. However, if you're on a tighter budget, you can book the trip as EP with no food or beverage included. The nice part is that if you change your mind, you can upgrade to all inclusive when you get there. This hotel has a great private beach, and a sweet pool with a swim-up bar. Definitely makes the list of the best all inclusive Spring Break hotels for 2015. As far as it goes with Inertia Tours, this is THE hotel to book if you have a large group and want to party hard.

Grand Pelicanos, Puerto Vallarta

Also in Puerto Vallarta, you have Grand Pelicanos. This hotel is newly renovated, and is right on the beach. What makes this hotel unique is the rooftop bar. Also has a swim-up bar, and a great pool. The food is pretty good too. All meals and drinks are included, so you don't have to worry about that. One of the best resorts you can get with Inertia Tours, even though it's quieter than Best Western.

Barcelo Palace, Riviera Maya

Going back near Cancun, there is the Barcelo. This one has a fun pool with music bumping. This hotel is popular with all the big Spring Break tour companies, so there is always a good variety of students. Has a palapa bar that is all inclusive. Also, just a ten minute bus ride to Party Center on a tourist bus that costs $1. This is one of the best massive International hotel chains that Inertia Tours has to offer, and one of the best all inclusive Spring Break hotels for 2015.

Why to consider Puerto Vallarta Spring Break

Why Puerto Vallarta Spring Break?

Puerto Vallarta is probably the overall classiest spring break destination in Mexico. The hotels are very nice, the restaurants are good, and the service is first class. It lacks some of the traditional, trashy contests.

Spring Break in Puerto Vallarta offers some of the best array of dining available in Mexico. While this might not seem all that important, food matters to your belly

Puerto Vallarta is more of a cozy bar scene than the huge club scene and many people prefer this as it is somewhat easier to meet people friendlier.

There are not really any bad areas in Puerto Vallarta it truly is a tourist. Destination with good safety aspects unlike some other places you can choose. The Malecon boulevard downtown.

This spectacular boulevard downtown set along side the bay/Pacific ocean offers some of the most beautiful sunsets on spring break. The Malecon is also a strip of fun bars & restaurants that are beachview like Zoo Bar & Carlos OBriens, to name a few

It is an authentic Mexican city full of culture. Unlike for example Cancun Puerto Vallarta is a city in and of itself. That means youll get to bust out Spanish and learn something unique about Mexico we feel. The outdoor Market is an example of this.

Great mix of familiarity with some American restaurants crossed with many mom & pop local places that are super fun to discover. The overall lack of huge spring break travel volume If you are looking for a destination that is still the beach, Mexico, & fun, but lacks huge flocks of college students, Puerto Vallarta makes arguably the best spring break destination choice.

Puerto Vallarta is a great choice for those spring break student travelers that would like to chose a destination that is not ultra-packed, has a unique cultural experience, and still offers great hotels!

Best hotels in Puerto Vallarta Spring Break 2014 in depth by Chadillac

Inertia Tours has certain hotels we really recommend in Puerto Vallarta for Spring Break 2014 but it depends on your group size.

For Large Spring Break Groups, we recommend:

EP - not all inclusive
  • Best Western - in old town (South Puerto Vallarta) walk to malecon

All Inclusive - all meals & drinks included
    •  Melia - while in the marina area, it is a Melia, a very well known name in Mexico on a nice stretch of beach. All meals and drinks included right at hotel

We recommend these for groups of 17+ people for their a.) willingness to work with groups b.) price and c.) value. Willingness to work with groups means giving us big blocks of rooms located by each other.

For small spring break groups, we recommend:

    EP - not all inclusive

    • Holiday Inn - great location, American name you can trust. This hotel epitomizes what you expect in a hotel...lobby bar, swim up bar, decent food, rooms standard but good and clean

    •  Las Palmas - great location, packed with students, value priced

Expect prices for 4 nights EP with airfare, hotel, taxes and airport transfers for $699 to $899 per person. 5 nights for $799 to $1199 per person and 1 week for $899 to $1499 per person.

All Inclusive - meals and drinks includes

      • Holiday Inn - great location, American name you can trust. This hotel epitomizes what you expect in a hotel...lobby bar, swim up bar, decent food, rooms standard but good and clean
      •  Las Palmas - great location, packed with students, value priced

      • Grand Pelicanos...(not standard Pelicanos). Great location, cool rooftop bar on ocean, really modern property just remodeled

Expect prices for 4 nights all inclusive with airfare, hotel, tax & transfers for $799 to $999 per person. 5 nights for $999 to $1499 per person. 7 nights for $1099 to $1699 per person.

We recommend these hotels for groups of 16 and under. They work well on pricing going with a 1 to 4 rooms, but tend to move the price up too far for multiple rooms to represent a superb value.

Want it quiet, or are going on spring break with a boyfriend or girlfriend? Try the Barcelo Costa. It's my favorite hotel in Puerto Vallarta located on private Mismaloya Beach; however, it is 15 to 20 minutes to the Malecon and downtown, and from some clubs upwards of 45 minutes with traffic. For students, usually that doesn't bode well....but the hotel is fabulous for the price.

Pic of Malecon downtown Puerto Vallarta Blvd:

Inertia Tours teams up with the Party Team & Party Vallarta to host the wildest Red Carpet VIP Parties and events with nightly bottle service & table reservations suggested albeit not required.

Strana Nightclub, Puerto Vallarta on the Inertia Tours Red Carpet VIP Party Package:

For groups of 10 - 20 wanting private  homes & villas to after bar in, we direct you to www.springbreakmafia.com. Budgets per person need to be $2500+ per person for such a trip.
